Celery can be difficult to grow if not sown properly. Sow seed lightly on the surface of the soil. Seeds need sunlight for germination. Avoid planting too many seeds together as you will need to thin them later on. Celery needs 3-4 months to mature so make sure to plant accordingly. Keep soil moist until germination which can take up to 18 days. Once seedlings are hardened off transplant to a spacing of 12" apart.
