These grow very easily! They are delicious to eat and they also work well as a living mulch. They can be planted in cooler weather, as soon as the soil can be worked.
Sow seeds 1" deep at about 3-6" apart in rows that are 24" apart. It is not necessary but you can use a bean inoculant to encourage bigger plants and better yields.
Plants will grow to be 36-48" tall and may need to be staked to prevent them from falling over. For snap beans harvest when pods are 2-3" long. For shelled beans harvest when pods are 4-7" long.
