Heirloom variety! Start these seeds indoors about 4 weeks before the last frost and then transplant them when they are 3" tall. If direct seeding sow seeds at 1/4-1/2" deep in mid spring and then thin down to 15-18" in rows that are 2-3ft apart. These will grow many side shoots after head is harvested.
