The cousins of delphiniums, these are one of the most popular annuals and they are much easier to grow. They produce long spikes of double blooms that come in a beautiful blue color. They can grow to be 3-5ft tall.
It is best to stratify these seeds before planting (placed in the fridge on a wet paper towel). After stratification sow seed 1/4" deep every 4-6" apart. Sow in early spring for summer blooms or in the fall for blooms the following year. Germinates in 14-21 days.
