We had an unfortunate mix-up of seeds that resulted in the combining of the Long red cayenne and Habanero orange pepper. If you don't mind growing a cayenne, a habanero, or a little of both, then take advantage of this great deal!

Below are the specs for both seeds. One thing we can guarantee is they are both heirloom and they are both very spicy and delicious!

Happy Gardening!

Long Red Pepper

Annual
Heirloom
Days to Maturity: 70-75 (Spring/Summer)
Hardiness Zone: 4-12

These produce 6-7" long peppers. You can start seeds indoors. They germinate best at 75-85 degrees. They should be ready to transplant when they have 2-3 sets of true leaves. Should harvest in about 74 days!

Habanero Orange Pepper
Annual
Days to Maturity: 95-100 (Spring/Summer)
Hardiness Zone: 4-12

These produce very hot peppers that are about 2½ inches long. They ripen from green to orange.

Sow seeds indoors 6-10 weeks before the last frost. You can also sow directly into the ground at 1/4" deep once the frost has passed and when soil temperatures are at least 75 degrees. Soaking the seeds overnight in warm water helps with germination. Thin seedlings to 18" apart.
