Biennial
Days to Maturity: 65-75 (Spring/Summer), 84-97 (Fall/Winter)
Hardiness Zone: 3-12

Carrots are better directly sown .Plant these in a sunny location in early spring as soon as the soil can be worked, about 3-5 weeks before the last frost. Plant every 2-3 weeks until mid summer for a continuous harvest. You can also plant in the fall if you live where there are mild winters. Make sure to keep moist until germination which can take 12-18 days. Thin seedlings to a spacing of 1-2". Should be harvesting in about 75 days after sowing!

It can also be helpful to mix seed with radish seeds before planting. Radishes grow very quickly so this will help mark the rows for watering and weeding.
